What can movement coaching do for you?
Maybe you’d like to be more active but you get regular niggles and moving doesn’t feel as easy as it used to?
Maybe you’d like to improve your posture and have more energy?
Maybe you’d like to get fitter, faster, stronger – safely and effectively?
Maybe you’d just like to keep moving well for as long as possible?
Too often, we accept sore joints, stiff muscles, and injury as simply part of getting older, and think there’s nothing we can do. But our bodies are amazingly adaptable. Give them the right kind of training, and we can move better, perform better, and feel better, at any age.
About movement coaching with BlueSkyRunning
I take a different approach to personal training. As a restorative exercise specialist and RYC™ instructor, my focus is helping you to learn how to improve how you move and feel better in your body, wherever you’re starting from.
I’m my own guinea pig when it comes to mindful movement. After decades as the archetypal ‘active sedentary’, struggling with chronic injury and poor posture, I feel stronger, healthier, and have more energy in my fifties than I did in my thirties.
Movement coaching starts with postural/movement assessments, to identify those “blind spots” and patterns that may be holding you back.
From the assessment, I’ll work with you to develop a progressive, integrated movement programme, tailored to you.
Whether you’re a runner or an athlete looking to get the edge in performance, or you simply want to improve your health and well-being, my aim is to give you the tools, skills and knowledge you need to keep moving better and feeling better for as long as possible.
Movement coaching is available in Taunton. A one hour session is £40. To arrange a no obligation chat about your individual requirements, just drop me a line.
