Maybe you’d like to be more active but you get regular niggles and moving doesn’t feel as easy as it used to?

Maybe you’d like to improve your posture and have more energy?

Maybe you’d like to get fitter, faster, stronger – safely and effectively?

Maybe you’d just like to keep moving well for as long as possible?

Too often, we accept sore joints, stiff muscles, and injury as simply part of getting older, and think there’s nothing we can do. But our bodies are amazingly adaptable. Give them the right kind of training, and we can move better, perform better, and feel better, at any age.

About movement coaching with BlueSkyRunning

I take a different approach to personal training, helping you learn how to improve how you move and feel better in your body, wherever you’re starting from. I use the Restore Your Core method, a whole body programme for retraining the core muscles to be functional, responsive, reflexive and supportive for your body. RYCTM helps you to move more efficiently, uncover movement compensation patterns and create new patterns of strength, mobility and support.

I’m my own guinea pig when it comes to mindful movement. After decades as the archetypal ‘active sedentary’, struggling with chronic injury and poor posture, I feel stronger, healthier, and have more energy in my fifties than I did in my thirties.

Movement coaching starts with postural/movement assessments, to identify those “blind spots” and patterns that may be holding you back.

From the assessment, I’ll work with you to develop a progressive, integrated movement programme, tailored to you.

Whether you’re a runner or an athlete looking to get the edge in performance, or you simply want to improve your health and well-being, my aim is to give you the tools, skills and knowledge you need to keep moving better and feeling better for as long as possible.
