Running doesn’t have to be hard. And it doesn’t have to hurt.
Whether you’re new to ChiRunning or are looking to improve, learn how to run more efficiently, more mindfully and with less risk of injury in a friendly and inspiring atmosphere.
A one day workshop will build the foundations of your ChiRunning technique and develop your skills through practical exercises, drills and visualisations.
We’ll work on:
Creating a relaxed and stable base of support
Reducing effort and stress on your body by moving from your centre
Your secret power up - how to get the upper body and arm swing working for you
Increasing speed through relaxation
Learning to love hills 😊
Includes individual video observation of your current running form to give you a clear sense of the key areas where you can improve efficiency and reduce impact on the body.
You’ll learn how to develop your running skill and create a life-long programme for health and fitness.
Suitable for all levels of runner and all levels of fitness, from complete beginner to experienced ultramarathoner!
Workshops are limited in numbers so each student gets individual attention and guidance. If a workshop is fully booked, please contact me to be added to the waitlist.

FAQs
Do I need to be able to run far to take part in a workshop?
Not at all. The day includes some short practice runs in the afternoon, mostly at an easy pace. No 10 milers – promise!
Who are the workshops suitable for?
Everyone – seriously! I get a real mix of runners at my classes, from those who’ve only just started running, to marathoners who have been running for decades. From triathletes who’d like to enjoy the running bit a little more, to those coming back to training after injury. From twenty-somethings to sixty-somethings and beyond.
Can I take part if I’m injured?
If you’re suffering from an injury, please check with your GP or physio that it’s safe for you to participate before booking.
I’ve booked already and now I’m injured. Can I transfer to a different date?
Yes – just let me know that you won’t be able to make it and you can transfer your booking to another session.
